The Finish Line

Pulse: I'm still having nitemares about Matthew's death. Swimming in the pool at nite just doesnt feel right anymore.

The past:

1. I am so tanned Chinese bank officers talk to me in BM.

2. Did a full body checkup..for FREE! At the gov. polyclinic. Ahhh..one of the nice things of working for the gov. I get free dental care too ( perfect teeth too aherm ).

3. Rojak in Btu sucked big time. SUCK. Actually everything here sucks except the pool and the kolok mee.

4. I have Hepatitis B antibody. Hooray. Means I can work happily as a Dr. ( Yes loh Drs with Hepatitis gantung kerja wan you know )

5. Done with blogging.

The future:

1. Leaving for KK this Sunday for a week. To enjoy cheap nice seafood yay. Dont know if the mountains are still as I remembered it :)

2. Facial. Dental scaling. Eyebrow plucking. Hair rebonding. Beauty regime before work eh.

3. Ah yes. 2+3 with the gov. The BIG BOSS. I am like, scared shitless man.

4. They tell me housemen wear ugly Bata/Croc shoes so we can RUN FASTER TO ANSWER calls omg. And no makeup. And fugly clothes or else your patient will complain you distract them. And unkept hair. They tell me thats the norm wtf??!! ( I want to be housewife!! )

5. No more blogging.

The present:

Scrouching the www for 50 year old caucasian male who wants to marry 25 year old asian wife who loves cooking, interior decor, photography blablabla and migrate to Indo.

How do you deal with the death of someone you knew?

Pulse: Life. Is so short. Really it is. Sometimes I fear a side of me, the side that loves adventures and learning new things will die off one day too.

I am devastated.

Yesterday at the pool was chit chatting with some lifeguard friends and they told me such saddening news!

That my diving instructor passed away many months ago while I was still in Russia!

And I knew nothing of his death till yesterday!
I feel so sad! And heartbroken!

I dont know how to react to his death!

How do you deal with the death of someone you once knew??? And talked to? And laughed with? HOW?

The story: he was working underwater trying to repair the engines of one of the submarines ( or some underwater boat I'm really not sure) with another friend when the strong current plus strong turbines sucked them in OMG!!!

I am horrified.

And my heart is aching typing this.

So they were stuck and no one knew what was happening underwater so he let go one his tank ( to float up to surface as a signal for help ) and they had to share a tank between themselves. Which didnt last even for an hour. OMG.

STUPID PEOPLE ON LAND SAW THE FLOATED TANK AND DIDNT DO ANYTHING WHY THEY SO STUPID WHERE THEY TRAIN ONE I AM SO ANGRY!!! ALL THEY DID WAS SAY EH? WHY THE TANK FLOAT UP NO MORE AIR KAH HELLO CALL 911 LAH STUPID ASSHOLES YOU JUST KILLED TWO PEOPLE HAPPY LAH NOW????

Sigh.

So poor them waited underwater till they ran out of oxygen and just...died. Just like that.

Imagine the impending doom of knowing the tank is running out of oxygen. And that your limbs are stuck inside the turbines and you're hurt and bleeding out...

OMG my heart hurts like hell.

And they couldnt get them out from the turbines until 3 days later. My instructor's instructor had to fly in from Sabah to get him out. Which by the time he was already bloated to 3 times his original size.

My heart very painful.

Sigh. Why.

I cant help thinking of how he must have felt at that time. In pain. Delusional. Scared. A lot of fear.

I'm so sorry. I really am.

My dad has this really funny theory about the olympians. He tells me the blacks are great runners because they grew up being chased by lions and leopards and cheetahs in Africa. Headed to MV for another movie. We are so freaky. had some juice works before that. which came with a free wheatgrass shot. eww. so I gave it to jeewa. who was down with flu so he took it happily, believing that wheatgrass has got a lot of medicinal values. Aherm.

I wish you can see his facial expression when he drank it. We all took a sip, btw. Just so I know how it tasted. Errr..let's say I shall keep being carnivorous.

Gawd.

Just came back from yoyo-ing between the complexes in Putrajaya.

You cannot believe how impossible it is to not have your own vehicle here. I got ripped off so many times by their cabbies I think I can go to heaven by doing so much charity today.
But what to do. You want to go to your destination ASAP, that's how it is.

So I go to the SPA this morning, to clear my documents in preparation for work as a slave for the government wtf intern for the next 5 years or so. I wake up super early, have a nutritionous breakfast down the hostel and head off to Putrajaya. The cabbie from the 1st cab was a super old ah pek I think past retirement age. Who, unfortunately, has really bad eyesight and cannot read the address I shoved to his face. Which, in the end, ended up me having to direct him to the place I want to be at ( hey hello I know how to go just I dont know how to drive here ok? ). He made a few wrong turns and sweared a lot but he got me there in time and I'm happy enough lah.

Back in Russia I've already made many copies of the documents I think they may need. But as life would have it, I missed one very important document but I am not frazzled because hello since I thought I was at Malaysia's 'MOST PRESTIGOUS ADMINISTRATIVE DEPT' I assume a photocopying machine would be at a stone's throw.

YEAH RIGHT.

You have to start wondering WHERE are all the machines. And none of them offered to just walk into their office to photocopy 1 set for me aiyah. These people. Impossible. So I have to walkkkkk allll around looking for a machine and in the end found one in their library ( you know how hard to find the library or not??). Goodness. Anyway, that's that. There still some papers to hand in and fill up and what nots but I think I'll let my lawyer do that ( fellar on holiday coz his birthday ).

Then thinking I have soooo much time before I go shopping, I waited for the NadiPutra bus thats supposed to bring me to the Putrajaya Central but I wait and I wait and I wait and I got so hot and thirsty I flagged down a cab, which, yes again, as life would have it, ripped me off kao kao ( INDIAN!!!! ) because I look like stupid traveler that cannot speak BM. Why ah? I am chinese what. Why everyone in every store that I enter speakee England to me??

Well....here I am! Updating on my blog when I should go catch a movie or grab a drink with Ryan. I miss it mah. :)

Update: Hokay! Great time in Hartamas with girlfriend having juice and girly talk yay!
